The bravest man in the world

Dear leader and fulltime blatant liar Trump on Monday delivered his most off the wall remarks to date on gun control. A few actual policy points where brought up in between ridiculous comments about how he would have run inside the Florida school during the Feb. 14 shooting there “even if I didn’t have a weapon” and how he wants to arm only teachers who have a “natural talent, like hitting a baseball or hitting a golf ball or putting,”

Let’s get this straight. Our five-time deferred president (aka Cadet Bone Spurs) has claimed that if he had been at the Florida school shooting he would have run inside even if he hadn’t had a gun. Based on his illustrious record, I’m betting that the only way he would have run inside is if the shooter were outside chasing him.

Donnie “bone spurs” comments about what he would have done had he been at the shooting in Florida: This human being has absolutely no shame. The whole country is embarrassed.

His statement that he would have jumped in there with or without a gun is mighty bold talk for a five-time draft-dodger.

Where was “Macho Donny” he during the Vietnam War when his country called? Talk is cheap. Action talks and bullshit bravado walks. He simply is exploiting a tragic event to boost his own self-image.

Too much emphasis has been placed on the campus sheriff school resource officer and the four sheriffs deputies called to the scene. Some people think they all should have gone after the shooter, but wouldn’t you hesitate if you heard an assault weapon blistering away and only had a handgun and no armor? There needs to be proper training and outfitting to make that a plausible solution.

The odds that those officers could have done something to stop the shooter are slim and none. Statistics show that a trained shooter should make 85 percent-plus on target hits but, in an active shooter scene, the percentage of target hits is only 17%. Certainly, you have to agree, that those odds would be much worse against an assault rifle.

The bottom line is that assault weapon ownership needs to be carefully regulated. They are a weapon of war. Also, we need more train and properly outfitted law enforcement present on campuses.

We just can’t wait until this delusional dotard and his cadre of sycophants are out of power, and most of them in jail.

  1. Trumps statement is taken out of context to sensationalize this article and many others. Google what he actually said.

As for the draft in Vietnam, he used whatever means necessary to not go according to the mitigating disqualifications listed at the time. There were a lot of people that didn’t want to go to Vietnam. We have had an all volunteer military since Vietnam. The people that are serving have chosen to be in the military. Are there any legal proceedings that implicate the President for not reporting for service? Anywhere? If not, those statements about his lack of service are baseless and pointless and are only used to suit the author’s slanted narrative. Did the author serve in the military? I did. 8 years active duty marine. Signed up the day after the marine barracks in Lebanon were bombed and served during two conflicts. I see no problem with President Trumps lack of Service. It’s a personal chooce to join the service. Very few Americans ever serve. The few that do, serve proudly so that those that don’t can enjoy the freedoms and blessings of this country. Let’s start treating each other like we are all grateful to be here. I am. And I’m grateful for the men and women serving our country today. And if we are going to bring them back, let’s get this shit over with and destroy the caliphate with fury, malice and the might of our power. The only reason these wars drag on since Korea is to line the pockets of military contractors. There is absolutely no reason why we cannot destroy these backwards puppet states anytime we chose, other than money. Smedley Butler and Dwight Eisenhower warned us this was coming.

  2. “You know, I really believe — you don’t know until you test it — but I really believe I’d run in there, even if I didn’t have a weapon,” Trump said. “And I think most of the people in this room would have done that, too, because I know most of you. But the way they performed was really a disgrace.”

It’s conjecture. People do it all the time. Wishful thinking? Probably. Fantasy? Possibly. I still stand by taken out of context by rabid haters that have let the man take up residence in their heads. The disgrace is what WILL happen if the People are disarmed by the Government. Tyrants want disarmed subjects. When bullets were flying, Broward County deputies were taking cover. It is acceptable that deputy Peterson was trying to determine location, number of shooters, etc. You can’t hit em if you can’t see em. It was chaos and any number of things could have happened. Most of them bad. Any reasonable person would like to think they could try to stop it in anyway possible. Problem is, we (and the President) can only discuss it after the fact, like Monday morning quarterbacks. It is wrong of Trump and Sheriff Israel to throw Deputy Peterson under the bus. Neither of them were there. I guarantee that BCSD has a number of deputies wondering who has their back. Harry Truman had a plaque on his desk that said, “The Buck Stops Here.” Democrats like Truman and Kennedy would have got my vote.

Truman stood up to MacArthur. Relieved him of duty. History proved ol’ Give ‘Em Hell Harry was right to do that. But not using every tactic and weapon we had available to destroy North Korea and the Communist Chinese is costing us now. Truman didn’t want to use Nukes in Korea and MacArthur did. After the horror of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, I can’t blame him, but that protracted conflict on the Korean Peninsula gave the Military-Industrial complex a taste of how much money could be made. Since Vietnam on, every conflict has been protracted to squeeze dollars into pockets. The only ones that wins wars are the arms makers and top brass of the military that turn their favorable headlines into high paying private jobs or powerful government positions. Since Vietnam, we have been in one conflict or another to feed the machine.

Maybe Trump gets that when he keeps saying America first…lol, he wouldn’t have wanted to destroy Vietnam, he’d have wanted to build resorts!
